The Richland Police Department is a team of hard working law enforcement professionals serving a cozy town located in South Central Missouri.  We serve a town of about 2250 people, several businesses, and industrial locations in a full-service police role.  Our function includes calls for service, traffic enforcement, traffic accident investigations, citizen assists, criminal & drug investigations, and routine patrol.  We are a progressive department with modern technologies.

If you are about to graduate from a licensed academy or are already licensed as an officer, we welcome your application year round.

Police officer applicants MUST be licensed by the State of Missouri's POST Program before they can be employed as a police (peace) officer in the City of Richland.
